Artificial Intelligence for Society and Economy

The thirteenth Symposium of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AI*IA 2014) will be hosted by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pisa. AI*IA 2014 is organized by the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIIA - Associazione Italiana per l'Intelligenza Artificiale), which is a non-profit scientific society founded in 1988 devoted to the promotion of Artificial Intelligence. The society aims to increase the public awareness of AI, encourage the teaching of it and promote research in the field. AI*IA 2014 will be co-located with the first Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it 2014), 9-10 December 2014. AI*IA 2014 will host 4 plenary keynote talks, 10 workshops, a doctoral consortium, a panel, a special track, an award cerimony, and the annual assembly of AIIA members.
