Virginia Morini was born in 1995 in Poggibonsi (SI). She graduated in Data Science and Business Informatics at the University of Pisa in 2020, and after that, she was a Research Fellow in the research program SoBigData++ European Integrated Infrastructure for Social Mining and Big Data Analytics.
Currently, she is a first-year Ph.D. student in Artificial Intelligence for Society at the University of Pisa and a member of the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Laboratory (KDD-Lab), a joint research group of ISTI-CNR and the University of Pisa.
Her main research focus concerns the application and design of Network Science and NLP methods to detect and quantify biased information systems.
