Roberta Savella is a Research Fellow at ISTI – CNR for the project SoBigData++.
She graduated in law at University of Pisa in 2020 with a thesis on data protection, non-personal data regulation and Surveillance Capitalism.
Her interest in data protection and new technology law started in 2017 during a traineeship in the Intellectual Property and Data Protection department of the law firm DFMG Solicitors, based in Dublin (Ireland).
From 2020 to 2023 she collaborated with Studio Legale Martorana, a law firm based in Lucca (Italy) and specialized in data protection, and with Istituto Di Formazione Giuridica, also based in Lucca, a company that provides training courses for data protection professionals.
She contributed to several online articles and monographies on data protection and new technology law.
In November 2023 she started her Research Fellowship at ISTI - CNR to research the legal and ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence.
